Question & Answer
Frequently Asked Questions
How much can a hackathon be customized?
Each hackathon is a bespoke training engagement tailored to your team’s goals, skill levels, and technology stack. We recommend keeping the scope focused to ensure your team walks away with deep, applicable knowledge and confidence.
Will the work we do be production-ready?
Not quite. Hackathons are designed to produce proof-of-concept solutions. While they’re often impressive and functional, they’re not intended to be deployed to production without further refinement, testing, and governance.
What applications or platforms do you support?
Our mentors can guide your team through hands-on learning with: Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, Azure AI (on request). If you have a specific platform in mind, we’ll tailor the experience accordingly.
What if my team has mixed skill levels?
That’s expected—and welcome. We start each session with a level-setting module to ensure everyone is aligned and ready to contribute, regardless of prior experience.
How many people can participate?
We typically recommend 8–12 participants to ensure meaningful interaction and personalized coaching. Larger groups can be accommodated with breakout teams and additional facilitators.
Do we need to prepare anything in advance?
Just your team and your goals. We’ll handle the rest—from agenda design to environment setup. If any pre-work is needed (e.g., access to environments or tools), we’ll guide you through it during onboarding.
What happens after the hackathon?
You’ll receive a summary of outcomes, recommendations for next steps, and optionally, a follow-up session to help your team continue building on what they’ve learned.
